LSC Individuals Final Results

WICHITA FALLS - Tarleton's Jade Charlot and Mariana Freitas each captured singles titles, while Adriana Jaskova and Carole Julen teamed up to win a doubles title at the Lone Star Conference Individual Championships in Wichita Falls on Saturday.

Charlot downed Central Oklahoma's Lacy Caldwell, 6-1, 6-4, to win the third flight of singles, while Freitas defeated Midwestern State's Holly Gunderson, 6-1, 6-2, in the sixth flight.

Jaskova and Julen ousted UCO's Cabato and Marmey, 7-5, 6-4, to win in No. 3 doubles.

Jaskova and Evgeniya Prokofeva both lost their singles championship round matches, while Charlot and Prokofeva dropped their doubles championship match on Saturday.

In consolation action, Rocio Cabanillas defeated MSU's Kaja Banas, 8-2, and Carole Julen defeated East Central's Nilisa Ramirez, 8-2.

The TexAnns will conclude the fall schedule next week as the team travels to Mobile, Ala. for the ITA National Championships.
