Complete Regional Rankings

NEW ORLEANS - The Tarleton Texan cross country team stayed No. 3 in this week's south central regional poll released by the U. S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) league office on Tuesday.

No changes were made to the entire poll this week, as Central Missouri and Missouri Southern State kept the top-two spots ahead of Tarleton.  Abilene Christian and Pittsburg State followed the Texans to fulfill the top-five spots.  Southwest Baptist, Eastern New Mexico, Truman State, Emporia State and Northwest Missouri round out the remainder of the poll.

The Texans will return to action this weekend for the Lone Star Conference Championships.  The meet will be held in Canyon at the West Texas Horse Center.  The men are scheduled to begin the 8-kilomoter course at 10:15 a.m.
