Complete National Rankings

NEW ORLEANS - The Tarleton Texan cross country team stayed at No. 17 in this week's national poll released by the U. S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) league office on Wednesday.

No changes were made to the entire poll this week, as Adams State kept the top spot for a sixth consecutive week.  Central Missouri was the highest ranked south central region team, staying put at No. 12.  Abilene Christian was the only other Lone Star Conference opponent in the poll as they remained one spot behind the Texans at No. 18.

The Texans will return to action this weekend for the Lone Star Conference Championships.  The meet will be held in Canyon at the West Texas Horse Center.  The men are scheduled to begin the 8-kilomoter course at 10:15 a.m.
