Complete LSC All-Academic Release

RICHARDSON - Two of Tarleton's women's cross country team have been honored by the Lone Star Conference for their success in the classroom as Katherine Grillo and Morgan Kuykendall were each named to the all-academic commissioner's honor roll.

Grillo, a sophomore mathematics major from Aledo, and Kuykendall, a senior business major from Glen Rose, joined 14 other LSC runners on the women's commissioner's honor roll along with five all-academic team runners.  Midwestern State's Kayla Hendrix was named the LSC's Academic Runner of the Year. 

This was the first all-academic honor for both Grillo and Kuykendall.

The all-academic team and commissioner's honor roll selections are voted on my the league's sports information directors.  To be eligible for both the Honor Roll and the All-Academic team, student-athletes must maintain a 3.30 cumulative grade point average.
