Schedule of Events
STEPHENVILLE – The Tarleton track & field teams will host the Tarleton Relays on Thursday, March 11 at Oscar Fraizer Track in Stephenville. Field events are scheduled begin at noon with running events slated to start at 4 p.m.
Both men's and women's teams are coming off an impressive showing in San Antonio last Saturday where they had two first-place finishes to go along with 15 top-three finishes. The men's team finished the meet second overall while the women's finished fourth in the Trinity Invitational at E.M. Stevens Track and Field Stadium.
In the opening meet of the season, Tarleton had five first-place finishes and 20 top-three performances after competing at the Incarnate Word Invitational.
Other teams scheduled to compete on Thursday include Lone Star Conference members Angelo State, Eastern New Mexico, West Texas A&M, Texas A&M-Kingsville and Midwestern. Rounding out the remainder of the field will be Concordia, Texas College, South Plains College, Western Texas College, Southwestern University, Southwest Christian, Lonn Morris College, Lubbock Christian, McMurray, University of Dallas, University of Texas at Tyler, Hardin Simmons, New Mexico Military and Dallas Baptist.
