DURANT, Okla. – Four TexAnn softball players have been honored by the Lone Star Conference for the actions on the field this season, including senior Julie Norris who was a First Team All-LSC South Division selection.
Norris, a senior from Garland, was picked as the first team utility player after pitching and playing first base this season while also spending time in the designated player role.
Brittany Terry, a senior from Crowley, was selected as a Second Team All-LSC South Division first baseman while catcher April Gonzalez, a senior from Iowa, La. and shortstop Arianna Rodriguez, a freshman from Bruceville Eddy, were both named the South Division's honorable mention list.
Overall 78 student-athletes were recognized by the all-conference program, including at least one player from each of the 14 LSC softball teams. The awards are voted upon by the league coaches in each division.
