DENVER, Colo. – The Tarleton Texan cross country team concluded its season Saturday morning with a 13
th place finish at the South Central Regional Championship at Regis University.
Tye Doty was the top Texan on the day, leading the team with a 56
th place finish in a time of 35:04 in his first 10K race of the season.
Freshman Dylan Willet was the second Texan to cross the finish line in 77
th place with a time of 35:59.
Chase Rathke and
Miles Joslin were next to cross in 86
th and 95
th place in times of 36:11 and 36:21, respectively.
James Polasek was the final Texan to bring in points for the Texans, coming in 106
th overall in a time of 36:40.
Thorne Pettigrew (37:48) and
Jeffrey Currie (39:07) rounded out the Texan runners in 124
th and 137
th place, respectively.
The Texans entered the meet ranked No. 9 in the South Central Region and recently claimed a third place finish in the Lone Star Conference.
