TexAnns hold firm at No. 4 in South Central Regional Poll

STEPHENVILLE – Tarleton (19-7, 16-2) held onto their No. 4 spot in the latest South Central Regional Rankings, released by the NCAA Wednesday afternoon.
 
The TexAnns went 2-1 last week with wins over Midwestern, who fell from No. 5 to No. 7 in the regional poll, and Eastern New Mexico. The one TexAnn loss came to West Texas A&M, who remained at No. 9 in the poll despite the win over Tarleton.
 
Other shakeups in the region include the top spot.
 
No. 12 Washburn defeated No. 11 Pittsburg State in MIAA action and jumped the Gorillas for the No. spot in the region. Northeastern State fell to the third place despite winning both of its games.
 
The rest of the regional poll comes in with Emporia State (5), Central Missouri (6), Midwestern State (7), Arkansas Tech (8), West Texas A&M (9) and Newman (10).
