AUSTIN - The TexAnn golf team wrapped up competition in the first round of the St. Edward's Invitational Monday in Austin and currently sits in first place. Tarleton also has three individuals leading the way.

Sharon Lau, Jacqueline Lau and Jessica Pickwick are atop the individual standings at No. 1, 2, and 3 respectively.  Sharon Lau shot a 72, while Jacqueline Lau shot a 73 and Pickwick shot a 75.  Katy Ward is tied for 18th with an 80 and Sarah Fulfer is tied for 76th with a 93.

The TexAnns lead St. Edward's (No. 2), Arkansas-Fort Smith (T-No. 3), Sonomo State (T-No. 3), Hawaii-Hilo (T-No. 5), West Texas A&M (T-No. 5) and Newman (T-No. 5) in the top five.

Tarleton will return to action on Tuesday when they tee-off for the final round of the St. Edward's Invitational.
