WICHITA FALLS - The all-region teams for the South Central Region were announced Tuesday and Tarleton senior forward

Wilson led the Texans with 13.0 points and 7.2 rebounds per game while shooting 51.2 percent from the field. The senior from New Orleans, La. had six double-doubles and recorded double-digit rebounds on eight seperate occasions. He was also named first team All-Lone Star Conference and to the All-Tournament team for the LSC Tournament.
Along with the rest of the Texans, Tarleton finished the year 26-5 and will compete in their ninth NCAA tournament.
Associate head coach
Chris Reisman talked about the honor for Wilson.
"I'm greatly pleased that Fabian received all region," said Reisman. "This is just a product of all the hard work Fabian has put in during his three years in our program and especially in preparation for his senior season. He's really grown as a player, student and person throughout his time here at Tarleton State University. Fabian has played big for us all year but in particular down the stretch in important games. He has been the focus of every team we have played and still has managed to make a significant impact in each game."
The Texans will face No. 23 Missouri Southern St. on Saturday in the first round of the South Central Regional tournament in Wichita Falls.
