- Team Leaderboard- Player Leaderboard- Results, Round Two (PDF) CONOVER, N.C. – The fifth-ranked Tarleton State TexAnns remain in third place at the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships after carding a second-round score of +15, 299, at the 5,928-yard, par 71 course at Rock Barn Golf & Spa in Conover, N.C.
Despite Thursday's inclement weather, the TexAnns have a two-day score of +31 (300-299=599) after shaving a stroke off yesterday's round, and are just eight shots back of Lynn, who leads the championship event with a score of +23 (294-297=591) after carding a +13, 297, on Thursday.
The TexAnns are just five shots behind Barry, who sits in second place with a score of +26 (305-289=594), while Rollins dropped into fourth place on Thursday after shooting +22, 306, on Thursday to card a two-day score of +35 (297-306=603).
Senior
Jessica Pickwick, who registered a team-high four birdies on Thursday, carded a three-over, 74, and is currently in a tie for ninth place with a total score of five-over (73-74=147). Senior
Sharon Lau, who carded a four-over, 75, is in a tie for 12th place with a two-day score of six-over (73-75=148).
After recording an eight-over, 79, on Wednesday, sophomore
Isabel Jimenez-Perea came back to card a three-over, 74, on Thursday and moved up into a tie for 31st place with teammate, freshman
Beatriz Prados, at +11 (79-74=153). Prados shaved a stroke off yesterday's score to shoot five-over, 76, on Thursday and currently has a combined score of +11 (77-76=153) as well.
Wet course conditions hindered
Maraea Durie's play on Thursday as the freshman carded a score of +12, 83, following her opening round of six-over, 77. She is currently in a tie for 53rd place with a two-day score of +18, 160.
