Second Round Results
AURORA, Colo. – No. 7 Tarleton moved up one spot to sixth through two rounds of the NCAA women's golf championship at CommonGround Golf Course on Thursday.
The TexAnns shot a 300 (+12) on day two and are at 601 (+25) overall. Rollins College leads the field with a 578 (+2).
Kerbey Kipp had the top score of the day for Tarleton, carding a season-best 1-under par 71. Kipp climbed a tournament-best 34 spots on the leaderboard and is tied for 22nd with a 150 (+6). Kipp shot par through the front nine, recording birdies on No. 3 and 4. Kipp also had birdies on No. 10 and 16.
Isabel Jimenez-Perea remains in sixth on the individual leaderboard after shooting even par for the second straight round. Jimenez-Perea, who has a score of 144 through the halfway points, had three birdies and 12 pars in the round. The senior is three strokes off the individual lead, trailing Hally Leadbetter (-3) of Rollins College.
Casey Wild shot an 80 in the second round and has a total score of 154 (+8).
Beatriz Prados is at 155 (+11) and
Sarah Gee has carded a 157 (+13).
Tarleton has combined for 105 pars and 21 birdies through two rounds with Prados leading the team with 24 pars and Jimenez-Perea leads with seven birdies.
