Biography
Sophomore (2018):
Competed in 10 meets for the Texans … Ran career best in the 3000-meters (8:56.36) at the Texas Tech Red & Black Open … Ran a personal best in the 1500-meters (3:57.56) at the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Championships … Also ran the 800-meters (2:00.14), mile (4:23.75) and 5000-meters (15:27.70).
Freshman (2017):
Ran cross country and track and field for Tarleton… Competed in six cross country meets, had a season best time of 26:27.5 in the 8k at the Bob Gravett Invitational… Also competed in nine meets for the Texan track and field team… He ran a season best time of 4:04.55 in the 1500-meter run at the East Texas Invitational.
Bandera High School:
Lettered in track four years… Also served as team captain… He was an all-state cross country runner his sophomore year, and an all-state track runner his senior year… He is also the 3200 and 1600 meter record holder at Bandera High School.
Personal:
Is a 2016 graduate of Bandera High School in Bandera, Texas… Son of Yvonne and Gilbert Elizondo… Has one sister, Elizabeth… Majoring in Engineering… Born January 19, 1998.
