Competed in eight meets for the Texans…Ran a career-best in the 3000-meters steeplechase (9:43.36) at the East Texas Invitational…Set a personal-best in the 5000-meters (15:16.13) and had his best finish (2nd) at the East Texas Quad…Ran a career-best in the 3000-meters (8:59.46) at the Lone Star Indoor Championships.
Freshman (2018)
Competed in 10 meets for the Texans … Ran career bests in the mile (4:28.47) and 3000-meters (9:10.46) at the Lone Star Conference Indoor Championships … Ran a personal best in the 1500-meters (4:01.97) at the ACU Oliver Jackson Twilight … Also ran the 800-meters (2:03.80), 5000-meters (15:37.55) and the 10,000-meters (32:53.12).
Bruceville-Eddy High School
Lettered in cross country and track four years… Won the State Championship for cross country in 2014… Set the 3A state record in the 1600-meter with a time of 4:31, and then broke it in 2017 with a time of 4:23.
