Canton High School:
Lettered in cross country four years, in which she served as co-captain her senior season… Also lettered in track and field for three years… Qualified for the State Cross Country meet her senior season, where she finished in 17th-place … Was a member of the Texas Girls Coaches Association 4A All-State Cross Country Team, and also was named the Cross Country Runner of the Year… Helped lead her team to a District Championship her senior season… Was also a member of the National Honor Society.
