Jeff Smith and
Nikki McNorton went to Colorado State-Pueblo May 24-26 to compete in the 2012 Division II Outdoor National Championships. Smith automatically qualified in the 400m hurdles with a time of 51.82 while McNorton hit the automatic mark with a high jump of 5' 10.75'' (1.80m).
McNorton earned All-American honors in the high jump with a third place finish on a jump of 5' 9.25'' while Smith qualified for the finals in the 400m hurdles and finished ninth in the nation.
