In 1992-93, Knott played in 31 games as a sophomore. He averaged 7.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game while averaging .579 from the field, .429 from the three-point arc and .667 from the free throw line. He had two double-doubles that season.
Knott played in 27 games as a junior in 1993-94, averaging 14.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. He averaged .549 from the field, .200 from the arc and .693 from the charity stripe. He recorded 34 steals, 61 assists and 20 blocks. He fought a nagging back injury all season while scoring two double-doubles and scoring 20 or more points on three occasions.
In 1994-95, Knott led the team with 21.9 points and 8.1 rebounds per game as a senior. He had a .568 shooting percentage from the floor while averaging .167 from the arc (2-12) and .565 from the line. He led the team in scoring in 19 games and in rebounding in nine contests. He started all 25 games in which he played (the team played in 26). He recorded 10 blocks, 28 assists and 43 steals while averaging 35 minutes per game. Knott had eight double-doubles and scored in double digits in all but two games as a senior. He had 14 games in which he scored 20 or more points, including three 32-point or better games.
Knott is No. 9 in career scoring with 1,173 points in 83 games, a 14.1 points per game average. He is also No. 9 in career rebounding with 520 in 83 games, a 6.3 average. He was the team’s MVP in 1995.
