Tarleton State University Athletics

Smith started all 127 games during his four-year career at Tarleton, the only Tarleton Player to ever do so. The Texans went 96-31 during Smith’s four seasons as he set school and NAIA District 8 records for blocked shots and steals. During his career he was named the team Defensive Player of the year, team Co-MVP, twice named to the NAIA All-District Team, 1990 to the GTE Academic All District Team, and in 1992 was named Division II Honorable Mention All-American.
