Guy scored 953 points in two seasons for the Texans and helped lead Tarleton to back-to-back Texas Intercollegiate Athletic Association conference championships during the 1988-89 and 1989-90 seasons. He made 247 field goals in his career, with 210 of those coming from beyond the three-point line. He made 122 three-pointers during his senior season at Tarleton, which ranks as the second most for a single season in school history. Guy set a school record with 10 three-pointers made in a single game against Paul Quinn College on Dec. 5, 1988 – a record he still owns with two other former Texan players. Running the offense for the Texans, Guy finished his career with 309 assists, which ranks fifthmost all-time in school history.
