STEPHENVILLE - Tarleton's Caitlin Warren finished sixth in the Lone Star Conference Heptathlon held in Stephenvill e on Monday and Tuesday.

The heptathlon is a precursor to the LSC Track and Field Championships which will be held in Stephenville Friday and Saturday, April 21-22. 

Warren finished with 3,902 points while Jessica Withrow of Abilene Christian finished with 5,042.

Kyndel Howell of Angelo State finished second with 4,669 points.  Both Howell and Withrow recorded provisional qualifying marks for the 2006 NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships.

Jessica Blair of ACU was third with 4,392 points while Rachel Williams of Angelo State (4,284) aand Chelsea Pattison of Texas A&M-Commerce (4,123) also finished the event.

Heading into the conference meet, ACU leads with 16 points, followed by ASU with 12, TAMUC with two and Tarleton with one.
