Texan Alley Tailgate
Tarleton State University welcomes students, alumni, fans, and guests to enjoy tailgating prior to all home football games at the Lonn Reisman Athletic Center at Memorial Stadium. Texan Alley is one of the premier tailgate atmospheres in the country and invite all fans of the purple and white to be a part of this great Tarleton State tradition!

The Tarleton State Athletic Department is now selling Texan Alley season passes for all six home games at Memorial Stadium during the Fall 2025 Football Season. Please note the following policies regarding purchasing Texan Alley Tailgate spots for the upcoming season:

- Individual Game Tailgate spots are not on sale currently, only season passes for all six home football games at Memorial Stadium during the 2025 season. Remaining tailgate spaces not sold for the season will be opened each week on the Monday prior to the game. To guarantee a spot please visit the Tarleton State Athletic Ticket page at TarletonSports.com/tickets.
- RV season passes are limited and available by calling (254) 968-1832. To be added to the waiting list for future RV spots, email tickets@tarleton.edu.
- Texan Alley tailgate spots will be sold online at tarletonsports.com/texanalley or by calling 254-968-1832.
CONDUCT, GUIDELINES, AND POLICIESÂ
All students attending game day tailgating events at Tarleton State University are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the pride and character of the University. Any individual acting in a disruptive, disrespectful, or disorderly manner may be asked to leave the premises or may be subject to removal or arrest by University Police.

Students who exhibit unruly or disruptive behavior, who are clearly intoxicated or who are determined to be under the age of 21 and in possession of alcohol, are subject to arrest and/or removal from the premises. Individuals who exhibit disruptive behavior and interfere with the rights of others using loud, abusive language, music and or behavior, or who may prevent others from enjoying tailgating will be asked to cease and desist and may be directed to leave the premises if necessary.

Violation of tailgating conduct may result in immediate termination of tailgating privileges, criminal prosecution and/or disciplinary action through the Office of Student Judicial Affairs. Students may also be charged with violation of the Student Code of Conduct.
ALCOHOL GUIDELINES
We do have specific rules and guidelines pertaining to alcohol for tailgating events and activities. These should be strictly followed by all participants.
- Alcohol is allowed within all gameday or Texan Alley lots as designated by Tarleton State Athletics. Persons consuming alcohol on Tarleton State’s campus are subject to all local, state and federal laws.

- The possession and use of alcoholic beverages must be in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as Tarleton State University and Texas A&M University System policies.

- You must be 21 years of age or older to consume or be in possession of alcohol.

- All beverages must be kept in plastic containers or cans. Glass bottles are strictly prohibited, there are no exceptions. The use of kegs or full-service alcohol service is allowed with the use of a TABC licensed third-party vendor/server.

- Any binge drinking activities/games, i.e. funneling, shot gunning, slap the bag, beer pong, beer dice or other activities deemed inappropriate by Tarleton State Athletics or Tarleton State University Police or designee could result in removal from Texan Alley.

- If alcoholic beverages are served/available at your tailgate site, you must also have an appropriate number of non-alcoholic beverages available for your guests.
- Student tailgating groups must end tailgate activities at kickoff.
- After game, student tailgate activities can resume until midnight.
The sale of alcohol or providing alcohol to anyone other than your guests is prohibited. Individuals or groups may not allow unrestricted access to alcoholic beverages. You may be liable for guests and others for injuries for serving alcohol, especially to a minor.
GENERAL GUIDELINESÂ
Our general guidelines apply to all tailgating groups and should be followed by all who participate.
- STUDENT TAILGATE ACTIVITIES END AT KICKOFF.
- Parking lot entrances and traffic lanes must always remain clear.

- Each group is allowed only one vehicle per tailgating space. A maximum of 2 vehicles are allowed with 3 or more spaces.

- Texan Alley Season Passes or Individual Game RV or Tailgate spots will only be sold online at tarletonsports.com/tickets or by calling the Tarleton State Athletic Ticket Office at 254-968-1832. Campus Recreation will be admitting groups starting at 8:00 a.m. on game day, and will close the entrance gate four hours before kickoff or until lot is full.

- No pets allowed.

- All trash and debris from tailgating activities must be cleaned up and disposed of in provided receptacles.

- No open pit fires are allowed. Charcoal and wood grills are allowed, but fires must be contained to the grill. Charcoal must remain in the grill or trailer and cannot be dumped in the tailgate area or parking lot.
- All BBQ grills, propane or otherwise, should be attended to and secured at all times. Fires built on the ground and open fire pit devices are prohibited. All devices must have a cover for safety. Propane bottles must be secured to prevent tipping.
- Tents or canopies must be secured and may not utilize stakes that penetrate the ground more than 12 inches. Tents may not obstruct sidewalks, drive lanes or pedestrian walkways. Tailgating amenities including furniture, grills, generators, cables or satellite dishes may not obstruct sidewalks, drive lanes or pedestrian walkways. Tents greater than 400 square feet may not have sides.Â
- Individual or groups are not allowed to sell, promote or solicit any entity without written consent from Tarleton State University.
- If no power source on your row you must bring a portable generator for electricity, extension cords cannot cross tailgate rows.
- Only Clean Music/Radio Version may be played at tailgate. NO EXPLICIT LYRICS ALLOWED. NO MUSIC played after kick-off. Non-compliance may be subject to fine.
Tarleton State University does not take responsibility for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. All tailgating spaces and/or personal items should be always tended to in order to prevent any issues from arising. Participants and organizations are prohibited from selling food, products, and/or raffle tickets, campaigning for office, distributing petitions and/or lobbying for votes without prior written approval from Tarleton Athletics.
