Tarleton's athletic teams are utilizing a brand new weight room this year. The facility, which is located inside Wisdom Gym, opened in September of 2001.

The new 4,000 square foot weight room is a first-class facility, featuring cardiovascular equipment and strength training machines by Hammer Strength and Life Fitness, racks and platforms by Powerlift, and bars and dumbells by York.

The room showcases close to 10 tons of customized Iron Grip weights, giving Tarleton the same workout equipment as many National Football League and Major League Baseball teams.
