STEPHENVILLE - The Tiny Texan Cheer Camp is scheduled for July 1-3 on the campus of Tarleton State University.

The camp is designed to introduce and teach cheerleading skills to girls from kindergarten to 12 years old. The campers will get one-on-one help from the Tarleton cheerleaders. The cheerleaders will be teaching cheers, chants, dance, motions and jumps.

Campers will be able to ride in the parade on July 4.

The camp will start a 3:30 p.m. and end a 5 p.m. each day. The staff will stay until 5:15 p.m. for parents to pick up their children after work. The campers should wear shorts, a t-shirt and shoes.

There will be a performance for the parents on July 3 at 5:15 p.m.

Each camper will also receive a camp t-shirt.

The cost of the camp is $35 for each camper. Check-in will be on July 1 in the Wisdom Gym South.
