STEPHENVILLE - The Tarleton women's tennis team will compete at the Lone Star Conference Championship tournament in Oklahoma City, Okla. starting Friday, April 22 at 9:30 a.m.

The TexAnns are 7-8 this season, but looking to break even with a couple of victories this weekend.

Tarleton is a No. 6 seed entering the tournament and will face No. 3 Central Oklahoma Friday morning.  The Bronchos got the better of the TexAnns in their first meeting this year, but Tarleton will be looking to get revenge with an early upset of UCO.

Semifinals will follow in the afternoon on Friday with the Championship taking place on Saturday morning.

The event will take place at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center, along with the men's championship.
