SAN ANTONIO – Due to a storm in the San Antonio area, the final day of the St. Mary's College Classic softball tournament has been cancelled.
 
Tarleton won two of the first three games of the tournament and were scheduled to play Rollins College and Texas-Permian Basin today.
 
“It's unfortunate we don't get to finish the tournament,” said head coach Julie Mata. “We had a really good day yesterday, even though we didn't beat Southeastern. We played a good game against them and against St. Edward's, too. I just wish we could have played today.”
 
Tarleton will return to action Friday in Kingsville for a tournament, beginning with a 9 a.m. match-up against Texas A&M-International.
