STEPHENVILLE - After returning to the Lone Star State, Tarleton will turn around a week removed from a trip to Florida with its second tournament of the month at St. Mary's in San Antonio.

"We certainly learned a great deal about our team last weekend," said head coach Julie Mata. "We learned the necessity of finishing and being disciplined with the details. You can't play the kind of teams we played and not do the little things right every time.

"This is a resilient team and I'm confident that we'll take our lessons and move forward," she continued. "St. Mary's and Lubbock Christian are two well-coached and talented softball teams. We will need to play at a high level and very consistently to beat them. I'm proud of our team and I believe we'll continue to move forward."

The TexAnns will take part in the St. Mary's Round Robin where, in back-to-back days, Tarleton will play Lubbock Christian and St. Mary's.
