SERIES HISTORIES

In between, Tarleton plays three schools in which they have played just three combined times. All three games are against Oklahoma Christian and Tarleton leads the series 2-1. This will be the first-ever meeting against Western Oregon and new-to-D2 Rogers State.
CLOSING IN ON 500
With four wins last weekend, Tarleton head coach
Julie Mata is now at 494 wins in her TexAnn Softball coaching career. After a stellar playing career as a basketball star for the TexAnns in the late 80's and early 90's, Mata took over as the head softball coach in the school's second season of 1997 and has lifted the TexAnns into national prominence. Now, Mata is on the verge of a momentous accomplishment in her career - 500 victories.
