The only team Tarleton will not see in the showcase is Texas Woman's, but Tarleton will play a pair of midweek doubleheaders against the Pioneers in April to complete the four-game season series.
MATA CLOSING IN ON 500
With two more wins last weekend, Tarleton head coach
Julie Mata is now two wins away from history. The 18

Mata is only the second coach in the history of the Tarleton softball program after taking over the program in 1997 following its inaugural season in 1996. She has led Tarleton to 12 LSC Championship Tournaments and three NCAA Regional tournaments in the school's 18-year softball history.
