LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton earned its first series sweep of the season by taking back-to-back doubleheaders from Eastern New Mexico in Stephenville. The TexAnns got superb pitching efforts from Randi Fentress and Brenna Hennan while outscoring the Zias 27-6 en route to the sweep.

SERIES HISTORY
Tarleton owns a 15-11 series lead against the Lady Buffs since the series began in 2006. Tarleton won the first-ever meeting 9-7 in Canyon and jumped out to a 10-3 series lead through 2009. Since 2010, however, the TexAnns are just 4-8 against WT but did sweep the then-No. 2 Lady Buffs in 2012 in Stephenville.

GETTING 500 WINS
Tarleton's Julie Mata celebrated her 500th win Friday night with an 8-0 win over Eastern New Mexico. Brenna Hennan was the winning pitcher in that game and Hennan was also the winning pitcher last season when Tarleton won its 500th all-time game as a program.

LSC PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Brenna Hennan was spectacular in Tarleton's four-game sweep of Eastern New Mexico last weekend, winning both of her pitching performances against the Zias. She threw her second complete game shutout of the season and followed up by keeping the Zias in check during the tightest game of the weekend, holding ENMU to one run in a complete-game, 2-1 win in Saturday's finale. For the weekend, she pitched 12 innings allowing just one earned run for a 0.58 ERA allowing 11 hits – only one of which went for extra bases – with three walks and six strikeouts.

MILESTONES FOR FENTRESS
The milestone moments have been pouring in for senior pitcher Randi Fentress. The LSC leader in innings pitched has thrown 12 complete games this season and last weekend topped the 500-inning mark for her illustrious career. She also recorded her 400th career strikeout last weekend and is currently No. 20 in the nation in strikeouts with 115.

CONLEE, CLIFFORD IN CONFERENCE
Since LSC play began, Amber Clifford has boasted a .425 batting average in all 12 games. The junior has driven in a team-high 10 RBIs in conference play with 17 hits and six doubles while Conlee, a sophomore from Stephenville, is hitting an even .500 with four doubles and four RBIs. Conlee is tied for the LSC lead in hitting since conference play began while Clifford checks in at No. 5.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
The TexAnns will be back home next weekend for a four-game set beginning Friday at 3 p.m. against Cameron.
