The Games
After splitting a tough four-game series on the road against 6
th-ranked Angelo State, the TexAnns return home to host Texas A&M-Commerce for a four-game series beginning Friday at 5 p.m. The teams will play doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday.

The Opponent
A&M-Commerce is in its inaugural season of softball and is in the middle of the Lone Star Conference standings with a 7-7 record in conference play. The Lions opened the season winning its first six games. Heading into Stephenville, A&M-Commerce is coming off a four-game series split against West Texas. The Lions have a 4.05 team ERA, with Aundria Zunigia-Romero leading the team with a 9-3 record and a 3.89 ERA. A&M-Commerce is hitting .305 as a team with Magen Lynch leading all Commerce hitters with her .387 average, ranking 15
th in the LSC.

Although the TexAnns split a four-game series against Angelo, Tarleton can be pleased with the outcome after facing the 6
th-ranked team in the nation. The TexAnns cruised in their first two wins, winning 13-7 and 7-3 versus the Rams. The two losses were pitchers' duels, with the TexAnns falling 2-1 and 4-2 in the Saturday doubleheader.

Haley Freyman leads the Lone Star Conference with 14 wins on the season, which is one win shy of tying Caryn Holbrook and Lauren Zearfoss (15) for ninth on the all-time single-season wins list in school history. Freyman also leads the conference in innings pitched (127 2/3) and ranks fifth in ERA (2.80).

Katelyn Conlee is having a career year at the plate and ranks in the Top-10 in the Lone Star Conference in several offensive categories. Conlee is seventh in hits (41), tenth in RBIs (34) and third in doubles (11).
