Melody Mayse, who holds the school record for triples in a career, currently ranks third in the country with seven three-baggers this season. Her seven triples also rank first in the Lone Star Conference.

Erika Menchaca has been on an offensive tear of late. The sophomore is riding a six-game hitting streak and has reached base in 12 consecutive games. Menchaca is hitting .381 on the year and leads the TexAnns with a .485 on-base percentage.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
The TexAnns will play in the Lone Star Conference Championship tournament on May 1-2. West Texas A&M is in position to host the LSC Tournament with a league-best 21-3 record with four games to go.
