THE GAMES

THE OPPONENT
The Aggies are 27-10 overall and rank third in the Lone Star Conference with a 9-7 record. Cameron is tied for first in the LSC with a .354 batting average along with 60 home runs on the season, tops in the league. Cameron's 3.89 team ERA ranks third in the LSC. The Aggies have lost 7 of 9.

THE SERIES
Tarleton is 19-8-1 against Cameron in the all-time series. The TexAnns split the four-game series last season at home and are 4-1 all-time at Cameron. This is Tarleton's first trip to Cameron since 2012.

SIGN OF GOOD THINGS TO COME
Tarleton's doubleheader against Texas A&M-International was canceled on Wednesday because of bad weather. The TexAnns had games canceled because of weather back on March 9 and went on to win 9 of their next 10 games.

MENCHACA RIDING WEEKLY HONORS
Sophomore Erika Menchaca led the Tarleton offensive unit with two walk-off hits and a .692 batting average after going 9-for-13 at the dish over the weekend. Menchaca hit two home runs, two doubles and drove in a team-high eight RBIs while collecting 17 total bases and leading the TexAnns with a 1.308 slugging percentage.

CONLEE'S ELITE COMPANY
Junior Katelyn Conlee is hitting .402 on the season to rank eighth in the Lone Star Conference. Conlee would be the fourth TexAnn softball player to ever hit .400 in a season, joining Jennifer Maupin (.400, 1999), Kelli Gayle (.402, 2008), and Monica Garza (.479, 2004).

RUN SCORING MACHINE
Melody Mayse has scored 38 runs this season, putting the junior in a tie for ninth on the Tarleton single-season record list. Mayse needs one run to tie Kristin Williams for eighth (39, 2004). Arianna Rodriguez holds the school record for runs in a season with 49 in 2012 and 2013.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
The TexAnns return home for their final time in the 2015 season when they take on A&M-Kingsville in a four-game series starting April 17.
