THE GAMES
For the second time this month, No. 10 Tarleton will head to the Alamo City for a five-game, three-day tournament at the home of the St. Mary's Rattlers. Tarleton will open and close the trip with games against Oklahoma Christian with bouts against St. Mary's, Central Oklahoma, and Texas A&M International in between.

THE OPPONENTS
Tarleton's slate in the tournament will put the TexAnns up against five regional opponents, including Heartland Conference foes Oklahoma Christian, Texas A&M International, and St. Mary's. Central Oklahoma, which will count as a regional game because Oklahoma is a border state, is an active member of the MIAA.

LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton had a rocky start to the West Texas A&M Invitational, dropping the first two games to Metro State and Chadron State, but the TexAnns showed their resiliency by bouncing back to take the final three games of the weekend against Colorado State-Pueblo, Adams State, and Lubbock Christian. Nyka Wood led the TexAnns with a .545 batting average for the weekend while Haley Freyman continued her dominance from the circle with a 1.88 ERA in four games.

ETCHING HER NAME IN HISTORY BOOKS
Despite being just 12 games into her sophomore season, Haley Freyman is already moving up the Tarleton all-time lists, including wins and innings pitched. Freyman won her 30th career game last weekend, becoming just the seventh TexAnn in school history with that many career victories from the circle. After she pitches eight more outs, she's going to move into Tarleton's all-time innings pitched list – passing Lauren Zearfoss, who is currently at No. 10 with 272.1.

RBI MACHINES
Seniors Katelyn Conlee and Melody Mayse have made a career of driving in runs for Tarleton and are quickly approaching 100 career RBIs. Conlee enters this weekend's tournament with 90 while Mayse is at 85. Tarleton has only had five players in its 21-year history record over 100 RBIs in a career and have never had multiple players with over 100 on the same team.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
The TexAnns will make their first return to Schaeffer Park in Canyon since celebrating with a walk-off single in the South Central Region 1 Championship. Tarleton will begin Lone Star Conference action at No. 22 West Texas A&M.
