THE GAMES
Tarleton will take a hiatus from Lone Star Conference play Tuesday with an afternoon doubleheader in Laredo against Texas A&M International at 1 p.m.

THE SERIES
Tarleton and Texas A&M International have met 17 times since the inaugural meeting in 2008 and the TexAnns own an 11-6 advantage, including 2-1 this season. Tarleton has won two of three meeting against the Dustdevils this season and is 3-1 all-time against International in Laredo.

THE OPPONENT
The Dustdevils come into Tuesday's doubleheader coming off of a three-game sweep at the hands of Oklahoma Christian in Heartland Conference action last weekend. With a record of 12-15, Texas A&M International is led offensive by Brittany Mussett and Taylor Vines with batting averages of .337 and .330, respectively. In the circle, Krystal De La Cruz has taken on the role of 'ace' with an 8-5 record and an ERA of 3.61 in 81.1 innings of work.

Tarleton dropped three of four to Texas Woman's in Stephenville last weekend. Tarleton's lone win of the series came in a 12-3 blowout in game two, led by three-RBI games from
Shelby Hedrick and
Avery Mullendore to support a complete game pitching performance by
Alyssa Ringhausen.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
The TexAnns will return home Saturday for a doubleheader against Heartland Conference rival St. Edward's at 1 p.m. at the Tarleton Softball Complex.
