The TexAnns closed out the set with three straight points on a kill from Hailey Roberts, an ace from Adriana Knutson and a kill by Amber Strange.

Texas A&M-Kingsville took an early 6-4 lead in the second set that forced Tarleton into a timeout. The adjustments were made and the TexAnns never trailed again in the set. After the timeout, Strange, Hannah McManus and Alex Applewhite powered down three straight kills to regain the lead at 7-6. The TexAnns would use a 10-2 run with Jordyn Keamo taking over offensively with two aces and five kills for a 19-10 advantage. Darthuy and Roberts put the finishing touch on the final two points with a pair of kills.

With the score tied at 11-11, however, the TexAnns pulled away with five straight points, including two aces from Roberts, for a 16-11 lead. The Javelinas cut the lead to 23-21, but the TexAnns took two of the next three points on a kill from Strange for game point and a block by McManus to complete the sweep.
