THE GAMES
Tarleton takes a break from Lone Star Conference play to travel west and take on Lubbock Christian for a doubleheader on Tuesday, April 18 at 3 and 5 p.m.
 
ABOUT THE TEXANNS
At 29-17 overall, the TexAnns are looking to give first-year head coach 
Mark Cumpian a 30-win season. The TexAnns are sixth in the Lone Star Conference with a 13-11 league record. Tarleton is hitting .326 on the year, good for third in the LSC and a team ERA of 2.71 that ranks third in the conference.
 
ABOUT THE CHAPS
Lubbock Christian is 29-14 overall and 9-6 in the Heartland Conference. The Chaps have won six straight games and are 14-5 at home. LCU is hitting .327 as a team, led by Sydney Beuthien's 3.92 average, and has an ERA of 3.39.
