STEPHENVILLE – The Lone Star Conference recognized eight Tarleton student-athletes as league officials announced the annual cross country all-conference honors.
All-conference honors are given to those runners who finish among the top 15 individually at the conference meet.
The Texans had six runners named to the LSC all-conference performers list. Tarleton was represented by
Quenten Lasseter,
Justin Botello,
Michael Simcho, Johen Deleon,
Jarred Elizondo, and
Nicholas Mosqueda.
Lasseter was the top finisher for the Texans and helped lead them to a second-place team finish. Lasseter placed third individually with a time of 25:39.10. Just behind him was Botello coming in fourth place, running a time of 25:43.50. Simcho (26:11.70), DeLeon (26:14.20) and Elizondo (26:16.90) placed ninth, 10

th. Mosqueda finished 15
thwith a time of 26:34.70.
The TexAnns had two runners named to the LSC all-conference performers list. Tarleton was represented by
Esmeralda Fuentes and
Imani Williams.
Fuentes was the top finisher for the TexAnns and helped lead them to a second-place team finish. Fuentes came in third individually with a time of 23:05.30. Williams placed fifth running a time of 23:25.00.
Tarleton will compete in the South Central Regional Championships in Denver, Colorado on November 17.
