A LOOK AT LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton bounced back from its first losses of the season by sweeping Eastern New Mexico in last weekend's home-opening series. Jordan Withrow threw all 21 innings from the circle while Megan Durante hit .444 with five RBI for the weekend.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Since the rivalry began when West Texas A&M added softball in 2006, Tarleton has won 18 of 39 meetings, including a sweep of the Lady Buffs in 2012 when West Texas A&M came to Stephenville ranked No. 2 in the nation. Tarleton split last year's meetings with two wins in four games. The TexAnns are 7-16 all-time in Canyon.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will return home for a three-game series against Cameron on March 9-10, beginning with a Friday night game at 7 p.m. and a 1 p.m. doubleheader on the following Saturday.
