THE GAMES
A pair of Lone Star Conference rivals will meet in South Texas this weekend when Tarleton (20-6, 6-6 LSC) invades Kingsville for a three-game series against Texas A&M-Kingsville (16-11, 7-5 LSC). The series begins with a 6 p.m. game Friday night and will wrap up with a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday.

There will be live stats available for the games, courtesy of the home team. Links to live stats can be found at the links on the Game Day preview story and Game Day graphics on Tarleton's Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as on the team schedule page at TarletonSports.com. There will not be a live video stream from the home team.

WEATHER FORECAST
The weather is expected to be in the low 80s with a less than five percent chance of rain for the weekend. However, in the event of possible weather changes, follow @tarletonsball and @TarletonSports on Twitter for the most up-to-date information regarding potential game-time changes throughout the weekend.

A LOOK AT LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton scored early and often while holding Northeastern State to just one run in 10 innings to sweep Tuesday's doubleheader at Riverhawks Park. Prior to that, Tarleton secured a series victory over then-No. 21 Cameron last weekend.

LSC PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Withrow was fantastic once again in the pitching circle as the sophomore right-hander appeared in all three games, earning two starts and finishing them off with complete-game victories against No. 21 Cameron. She boasted a 1.40 ERA in 15.0 innings against the Aggies while striking out 18. She allowed just three earned runs on the weekend and held the Aggies to a .157 batting average. It's the second LSC Weekly award this season for Withrow.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Tarleton and Texas A&M-Kingsville have an 80-game history that dates back to 1997 and the TexAnns hold a 46-34 lead in the series. Kingsville does hold a slim 19-21 edge in Kingsville, but Tarleton has won 14 of the last 21 meetings since 2012.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton has a busy week of games in Stephenville next week as the TexAnns welcome St. Mary's for a doubleheader on Tuesday in a makeup of an earlier series that was cancelled due to rain. The TexAnns will then host Friends University in a single game on Wednesday before welcoming Western New Mexico to town for four games, the first three of which are league games.
