A LOOK AT LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton swept league-rival Texas A&M-Kingsville in a three-game series in south Texas. The TexAnns took care of the Javelinas handily in games one and three of the series while relying on timely hitting for an extra-inning victory in game two. It was the first road sweep of the Javelinas since 2012.

LSC PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Megan Rosewell was fantastic from the pitching circle in two starts against Northeastern State and Texas A&M-Kingsville and it was enough to garner the senior right-hander her first career LSC Pitcher of the Week award. She threw 13.0 innings in two games with a 0.00 ERA and allowed nine hits and two walks while striking out five to improve to 6-0 for the season.

INSIDE THE SERIES: ST. MARY'S
Tarleton and St. Mary's have arguably the richest non-conference rivalry in history of the TexAnn Softball program. The teams have met 67 times since the first meeting in 1998 and the Rattlers hold a slim 34-33 edge in the series, but the TexAnns won this season's earlier meeting against the then-No. 22 Rattlers in San Antonio.

INSIDE THE SERIES: FRIENDS (KS.)
This is the first meeting between Tarleton and Friends, which is an NAIA power in Wichita, Kansas. The Falcons will come to Stephenville as part of a Texas roadtrip that encompasses trips to Fort Worth and San Antonio.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
The TexAnns will welcome Western New Mexico for four games this weekend as part of the inaugural CFC Awareness Weekend. The series will begin at 4 p.m. twin bill on Friday night and wrap up with a 12 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday. Saturday will be a big day at the ball fields as Tarleton will host a silent auction and a post-game concert by country music star, Courtney Patton. In addition to the auction and concert, there will also be catered food trucks on site throughout the day and a bounce house for kids. The teams will be wearing CFC-inspired apparel and fans will receive free wristbands and hats, while supplies last. For more information on the CFC event, visit TarletonSports.com.
