STEPHENVILLE – Fresh off their fifth appearance in the Lone Star Conference Tournament Championship match, the Tarleton Women's Tennis program is already back to work preparing for next season with the signing of Celia Vaudiau.
"We are very excited to have Celia join us in the fall," said interim head coach
Elianne Douglas-Miron. "Celia has shown tremendous excitement about Tarleton throughout the entire recruiting process. She is an excellent tennis player and will bring a lot of experience to Stephenville. I have no doubt she will make an immediate impact."
Vaudiau comes to Tarleton out of Lycee Henri Parriat High School in Blazy, France. She plays for Division 2 Club in France and is a three-time participant in the French National Championship. She has also competed in the regional finals of the Burgendy Championship nine times, earning five regional titles.
"I'm looking forward to becoming a Texan," said Vaudiau. "The campus is impressive and I'm very excited to study in English and discover a new culture. I cannot wait to play for Tarleton and am excited for this opportunity."
