Tarleton Women's Tennis will hit the road this weekend to play a doubleheader against MIAA, in-region opponents at the Lifetime Fitness Tennis Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Texans will go up against Northeastern State at 2 p.m. on Friday and No. 9 Central Oklahoma at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

ABOUT THE TEXANS
Texan freshman
Celia Vaudiau dominated her collegiate debut by coming out of last weekend undefeated in singles. She was the first Texan to complete her singles win against Texas Wesleyan on Friday with a 6-0, 6-0 victory in the No. 4 position. She followed that by earning Tarleton's lone win Saturday against No. 2-ranked Tyler Junior College. As a team in last Friday's season opener, Tarleton went on to defeat Texas Wesleyan 6-1. On Saturday, only Vaudiau was able to win her singles match as the Texans fell to the Apaches and moved to 1-1 on the season.

BARBAROUX RANKED BY ITA
SeniorÂ
Alicia Barbaroux leads the group as the team's lone senior. The native of France is a two-time All-LSC and the 2018 LSC Player of the Year. She enters the season as the No. 35-ranked individual in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) and has four career wins against nationally-ranked opponents. She is also ranked No. 3 in the South Central region.
UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will head to Arkansas for three matches over three days beginning on Thursday, February 20. The Texans will open the road trip at Ouachita Baptist in Arkadelphia on Thursday at 4 p.m. before heading to Searcy, Arkansas for matches against Harding and Arkansas Tech on Friday (1 p.m.) and Saturday (11 a.m.), respectively.
