STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The Texans announced their 2023 fall schedule on Wednesday. The Purple and White will look to build off the continued success they have had since making the reclassification to NCAA Division I.
Tarleton State will compete in four tournaments this fall, all within the Texas state lines.
"We are so excited to get things started," said head coach Elianne Douglas-Miron. "We have four strong fall tournaments where we will be able to compete at a high level. The team is looking good already and I know the girls are itching to compete. It should be a fun fall on the courts."
The Texans will get things started in North Texas as they will take part in the Diving Eagle Invite. Tarleton State will compete at UNT Sept. 15-17.
Following a trip to the metroplex, the Texans will travel a short way down I-20 to Western Athletic Conference foe Abilene Christian. They will take the court in the ACU Women's Fall Invite Sept. 29-Oct. 1. This will be the first of two trips that the Purple and White will make to Abilene.
The Texans will then head in the opposite direction as they take a trip to Baylor in Waco, Texas. The ITA Regionals will be hosted on the campus of Baylor Oct 12-16.
The Purple and White will then load up and hit the road to ACU for the second and final trip for the fall. This time the Texans will compete in the Wildcat Invitational Oct. 27-29.
