STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The Bleed Purple Athletic Alliance is set to host its second annual fundraiser to benefit NIL and Tarleton State student-athletes. This year's event will be held in the Stadium Club Suite at Tarleton Memorial Stadium on Friday, Nov. 22 at 6:30 p.m.

Todd Whitten and standout members of the football and men's basketball teams.
Tickets are priced at $500 for individuals or $4,000 for a sponsored table of eight. Tickets include dinner and drinks provided by the BPAA. All proceeds will go toward NIL opportunities for Tarleton State student-athletes. Recent NCAA changes now allow student-athletes the opportunity to be compensated for the use of their NIL, or name, image, and likeness, through third parties or NIL collectives like the BPAA.
"NIL is such a crucial part of the new college athletics landscape, and it's now a necessity to be competitive at any level," said Tarleton State Vice President for Athletics Steve Uryasz. "Our student-athletes work very hard on the field, in the classroom, and in our community. They deserve the opportunity to be compensated for the work they do."

Todd Whitten also knows the importance of a competitive NIL and a collective like the BPAA.
"NIL is a priority today, not only to attract and acquire talent, but to retain it," Whitten said. "Having the Bleed Purple Athletic Alliance and a donor base committed to investing in our student-athletes is key. It sets us apart and gives us an enormous advantage over our competitors."
