STEPHENVILLE, Texas - After wrapping up their inaugural regular season, the Texans are set to head to Youngsville, Louisiana, to take part in the 2024 Conference USA Beach Volleyball Championship.
 
The Championship will take place at Sugar Beach Thursday-Saturday which is located in Youngsville, Louisiana at the Youngsville Sports Complex.
 
"We're very excited to represent the Purple & White at the championship tournament next week," said head coach Tatyana Tuialii-Umi. "We're in a competitive conference and I'm excited for us to gain this exposure for our university & have the opportunity to compete at a high level."
 
The Texans (8) will begin action on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. with a matchup with Jacksonville State (9). The championship is double elimination format.
 
Following a Purple and White victory, the Texans will face No. 6 TCU (1) at 2:30 p.m. If coming off a loss after the first matchup Tarleton State will face the loser of Florida International / Missouri State at 4 p.m.
