STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Tarleton State Beach Volleyball announced its 2025 schedule on Tuesday, a 20-match regular season slate that also includes a home intersquad scrimmage and the postseason Conference USA Beach Volleyball Championship.
The Texans will play in front of their home fans on Valentine's Day, a Feb. 14 intersquad scrimmage at the beach volleyball courts on campus. Their first official action will commence on Feb. 21, with the regular season lasting two months, ending on April 19. The postseason conference tournament will be April 24-26.
"I am very excited about our schedule this season," head coach Dayna Masters said. "It will be challenging and we will be playing some tough teams but our team is ready to face those challenges. We are looking forward to traveling and representing Tarleton State. We do have an intersquad scrimmage that we would love to see everyone come out and see what we've been working on. These girls are excited for this season and want our fans to come out and support us on Feb. 14."
The Texans will begin the regular season at the Javelina Beach Classic in Kingsville, Texas, between Feb. 21-22. They are set to play both Texas Wesleyan and Texas A&M-Kingsville each day for a four-match event.
Between Feb. 28-March 1, Tarleton State will be back Kingsville for the Javelina Beach Showdown. On Feb. 28, Tarleton State will compete against UTEP and Colorado Mesa, and on March 1, the Texans will face UTEP again and Texas A&M-Kingsville for the third time on the year.
On March 15-16, Tarleton State will make its first trip out of state for the LBSU Invitational in Long Beach, California. The Texans will play the host Long Beach State, followed by Concordia, on March 15. Then on March 16, the Texans will take on California State Bakersfield and Arizona.
On April 4-5, Tarleton State will be in Corpus Christi, Texas, for the Islander Classic. The Texans will take on Sam Houston and Texas A&M-Kingsville for the fourth time this year on April 4, followed by matches against the host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Stephen F. Austin on April 5.
Tarleton State's final regular season event will be at the New Orleans Classic in New Orleans on April 18-19. On the first day, the Texans will face McNeese and the host Tulane. On the second day, Tarleton State will compete against Florida Atlantic and Southeastern Louisiana.
Tarleton State Beach Volleyball is an affiliate member of Conference USA, and will compete in the postseason tournament called the Conference USA Beach Volleyball Championship on April 24-26. That will play out at Sugar Beach in Youngsville, Louisiana.
