Shelby Schultz continues to pound the strike zone as she sits 42nd in the nation in strikeouts with 67 thus far. She also ranks 34th in strikeouts per seven innings at 8.6.

In the WAC, the Purple and White continue to hold four of the top-18 spots in batting average as Germain leads the Texans ranking third in the conference. As a team, Tarleton State is in the top-two of 23 different statistical categories in the WAC.

Game times for the weekend series are set for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch on Friday followed by doubleheader action on Saturday at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Friday night will be White Out as Texan Nation is encouraged to white out the Tarleton State Softball Complex.
