LAFAYETTE, La. – Tarleton State Volleyball will begin its 2025 regular season at the Sawyer Camillo Memorial Classic in Lafayette, Louisiana, on Friday-Sunday.
This marks head coach
Jazmyne Johnson's return to her former squad, where she spent the last four seasons, including the last two as Associate Head Coach.
The Texans are joined at their first tournament by New Orleans, Texas Southern and Louisiana. Tarleton State will take on New Orleans on Friday at 3 p.m. CT, Louisiana on Saturday at 2 p.m. CT, and Texas Southern on Sunday at 10 a.m. CT.
Of Tarleton State's 16-woman roster, the Texans have five returners;
Tehana Mo'o,
LaNeah Lara,
Megan Hodges,
Madison Frank and
Emma Burke. The Texans are returning two of their top-three kill leaders from a year ago, and four of their top-six, plus Hodges returns as the assists leader by double the next closest Texan.

Madison Natori Rice-Locket from Memphis,
Victoria Fontenot from North Texas,
Alexa Earle from Old Dominion,
Taylynn Biggs from Old Dominion,
Breannah Peterson from Miami (OH),
Alyssa Dinh from Texas Tech,
Teya Nguyen from San Jose State and
Leddy Rae Guinn from Lubbock Christian. Tarleton State also has freshmen
Makayla White from Hays High School and
Leila Paraoan from Kapolei High School.
Louisiana is not streaming any matches at the Sawyer Camillo Memorial Classic, but Tarleton State will provide a one-camera feed on WAC International for fans to tune in. Friday's match can be found
