GREENSBORO, NC – Tarleton State Softball looks to wrap up its six-tournament stretch this weekend at the UNCG Tournament held in Greensboro, North Carolina and Elon, North Carolina.
The tournament field includes the UNC Greensboro Spartans, the Elon Phoenix, and the Lehigh Mountain Hawks. This will mark Tarleton State's first appearance against all three opponents in program history.
The Texans head into the weekend following two big wins over Texas State and Saint Francis at the San Marcos Showdown last week.
The Texans will kick off the tournament with two games on Friday. First, the Texans will take on Lehigh at the UNCG Softball Stadium in Greensboro at 11:30 a.m. CT. Then, Tarleton State will travel to Hunt Softball Park in Elon where they will face the Phoenix at 4:30 p.m. CT.
Action will continue Saturday with two more games in Greensboro. The Purple and White will face off for their second matchup against the Mountain Hawks at 10:30 a.m. CT before their sole matchup with UNCG at 1 p.m. CT.
Tournament play will wrap up on Sunday with a single game against Elon at Hunt Softball Park. First pitch is set for 11 a.m. CT.
Friday's and Sunday's games against Elon will be streamed on FloCollege, and Saturday's game against UNC Greensboro will be streamed on ESPN+.
