STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Beginning this season, Tarleton State will host cashless operations at its athletic venues, the Texans announced on Thursday.
All ticketing, concessions, and spirit shops will be cashless across Tarleton State's home games and events in 2026-27, and beyond. This shift is part of a greater objective to significantly reduce wait times and improve the overall fan experience.
Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) as well as debit cards are accepted throughout all university venues.
Both Memorial Stadium and the EECU Center will have "reverse ATMs" at multiple locations in each venue, cash-to-card kiosks where visitors can turn cash into usable debit cards in the venue.
Tarleton State Athletics will begin its home slate on Thursday, Aug. 20, as Texan Soccer hosts UTEP at the Tarleton State Soccer Complex at 7 p.m. Texan Football will open 2026 at Memorial Stadium on Aug. 29 at 8 p.m.
